Home Storage Center

Your local Home Storage Center is a great resource for building up your long term food storage. At a home storage center you can purchase food items such as wheat, dry beans, rice, and other products that have been prepackaged for longer-term storage. You can print and fill out an order form and take it into your local center or simply buy online.

HOME STORAGE CENTER - Update 3-26-22
The Home Storage Centers are taking a hit!  Sign of the season, happens every Spring.
This Spring they are experiencing a triple hit.  Conference weekend always brings a surge of business and this Spring we also have a trailing pandemic and a global conflict.  This being said,  MOST items are in stock, however it changes daily and supplies can only be re-stocked so fast.  Go prepared to purchase what you want, but be willing to check back later or mail order those items that may be temporarily out of stock.
For this week, here is a list of what is plentiful.
Please note:  You do NOT need to purchase a full case.
You may mix a case if you do not feel that you need a full case of a certain item.
You may choose single cans and mix a case or just purchase a few cans.
Prices listed here are for single cans or pouches.
The missionaries at the center are very helpful in compiling your order and will even help you load.

Layton Utah Home Storage Center has been closed permanently or at least for the unforeseeable future.  The space is being utilized by the Bishops Storehouse next door as an expansion space.   Centerville and Ogden are still Home Storage Center facilities for now.  I was told by one of the service missionaries that the HSC's are slowly being phased out and all Home Storage Center items will need to be purchased online after 2022.  I have not been able to confirm this information with an official from The Church, when I do, I will pass along the information.

Layton Home Storage Open House - Cancelled

Due to the state of our area and the run on the Home Storage Centers, the Open House in Layton has been cancelled.   There are limited long term storage items left on the shelves and as new shipments come in, they are depleted rapidly.  Some restrictions have been placed on quantities.  The best thing to do if you are wanting to add to your long term storage at this time is to call ahead and inquire what is available and then go get it as soon as possible.  The Bishops central storehouse is restocking the centers as quickly as possible, however even the central storehouse shelves are dwindling rapidly with the surge of demand.   We have been assured that the products that normally occupy the shelves will be replenished as soon as product comes available and can be packaged for the centers.  There is worldwide demand for these products.  Please be patient and all will be safely gathered in.
